can be very expensive and are not always the best solution for looking after
your dog. We pride ourselves in giving your dog a home from home when you are away - a break which we are sure it will enjoy.
Your dog will live in our house as one of the family in a warm and loving enviroment, it will go on 2 walkies per day with our dog, have the security of a fenced-in garden and be a friend for our dog. One of us is around the house in nearly all of the time and your dog will not be left alone in the house for long periods (as would happen in kennels).
We cater for long or short breaks and if an emergency occurs at your home we would do our best to accommodate your dog.

Dog sitting
At The Lead Role we offer a home visit service, known as pet sitting, which is ideal for the pet that enjoys their home comforts and need to be fed, watered and have social interaction from time to time while the owner is away. Our home visit service can be tailored to meet your's and your dog's needs and daily visits can be arranged twice a day: that is two walks and one or two feeds.
The advantages of home visiting are:
- Home visiting is cheaper
- In your absence, many dogs will be stressed being at a kennel much more than they would staying in their own familiar environment, with familiar scents such as their bed
- 2 walkies per day!!
- Most dogs get stressed when confined to a small area, especially if they are used to the great outdoors
- Dogs kept in kennels are very susceptible to a viral infection such as kennel cough
